Last night, Elizabeth May came ever so close to winning the first seat for a Green MP in the House of Commons. She came second with 25.9% of the vote, behind Liberal Glen Pearson (34.9%).

We at OttawaGreens.ca would like to congratulate Elizabeth for running a good, clean campaign, and for the attention and support that she earned thoughout this by-election from Londoners and Canadians all across the country.
