Happy New Year! Will 2007 be the year the Green Party makes Canadian political history?

The Ottawa-Centre riding association will be holding a volunteer session this coming Thursday, January 18 at 7pm at the Green Party of Canada head office, unit 204 - 396 Cooper St. in Ottawa.

This is the third in an ongoing series of volunteer nights that we will be holding every few weeks until the next federal election. We will be holding a fundraiser on February 7 with guest speaker Thomas Homer-Dixon (more details to follow soon), so for this Thursday, we will need help stuffing envelopes for a mail-out and calling members/contacts to follow up on tickets sales and donations.

It is very important that we have some advance idea of numbers to expect so please let us know if you plan on attending this Thursday. Those interested can contact Mark Brooks at mark.brooks@mail.mcgill.ca.

You are not obligated to make any long-term volunteer commitment and you don’t have to be a member to help out.
