2. E-Waste Drive: The Darkside of the Digital Age

What is E-Waste?
E-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their “useful life.”  Many of these products end up in landfills even though many of them can be reused, refurbished or recycled.

How you can help: bring in your old electronics to the E-Waste drive.

When: Monday, March 5th 9:00 – 4:00

Where: drop boxes will be set up in the half-moon in Fauteux

So, bring in your old cell phones, computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, printers and other electronics that are of no use to you anymore.

2. Les déchets électroniques : le côté moins pratique de l’ère numérique

Que sont-ils?
L’expression « déchet électronique » s’entend par tout appareil  électronique dont la vie utile tire à sa fin. La majorité de ces appareils aboutissent dans les dépotoirs malgré le fait qu’ils puissent être réutilisés, rapiécés ou recyclés.

Qu’est-ce que tu peux faire : Apporte tes vieux appareils électroniques à la collecte de déchets électroniques.

Quand : Le lundi 5 mars de 9 h à 16 h

Où : Dans les boîtes situées à la demi lune du pavillon Fauteux

Donc, apporte les téléphones cellulaires, ordinateurs, télévisions, magnétoscopes, stéréos, imprimantes ou autres que tu n’utilises plus!
