The event will begin at 7pm on Friday September 28th, at Rideau Park United Church. The church is located at 2203 Alta Vista Drive (at Cunningham Avenue).

Emcee Dr. Qais Ghanem of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, and Green Party of Canada candidate for Ottawa South, will welcome two guests of honour: New Zealand Greens’ Co-Leader Jeanette Fitzsimmons, and Green Party of Ontario Leader Frank de Jong.

Jeanette Fitzsimons is an elected Green and the first person on the Greens’ list in New Zealand’s MMP system. She is a former university lecturer in environmental studies.
