We’ve unofficially scheduled the Ottawa-Centre nomination meeting for Wednesday, February 22, 2007. Nomination meetings allow members to choose who will run as candidate for MP in the next federal election. If you are interested in running as candidate, please contact the riding association. Once the venue is finalized, we will post to this blog, and send the constitutionally required notification to our members.

If you wish to vote in the election, you must be a fully registered and paid-up member 14 days prior to the nomination (February 8, 2007). If you are not yet a member, or are unsure of your membership status, contact us. When you’re getting in touch with us, remember that our volunteers may not be available to answer your queries before the New Year.
