Linked List - Monday Morning Edition
Here are a few links that may tickle your fancy on a Monday morning:

I recently discovered Julien Lamarche’s blog.
Julien links to a report on donations during the last municipal election. Most interesting: half of (Note: edited from original, incorrect “almost all”) councilors receive 50% or more of their campaign donations from corporate donors.
Walk Score is a cute web-app that provides a score of “walkability” for specific addresses given addresses.
For the geeks: The O’Reilly blog contains a post titled Why Congress Needs a Version Control System which really seems to be a cry for improved accountability of elected officials, something along the lines of TheyWorkForYou.
Update: Julien Lamarche pointed out a typo in the original post. Almost half of councillors (11 out of 23) receive more than 50% of their campaign funding from corporate sources, not the “Almost all” as originally written.
